| I think Larry or PUSA said they were afraid because they think we're a company and we were going to sue them. First, we are NOT a company. Second, we are not going to sue 4Kids, Nintendo, PUSA, TAJ, DuArt, or anyone else involved. And I agree not to contact PUSA or DuArt but rather Nintendo. | |

| I've thought of a way we can solve that little problem (hopefully). ^^
First, when all of us call Nintendo, we need to politely inform them that SOVA isn't a company. Next, we need to ask Nintendo if they will pass this information on to Pokemon USA for us (I don't think they'd be able to contact DuArt, though). This way, since Nintendo would be saying this, they will actually *listen* to them. And then, they will finally understand the truth about this - SOVA is not a company, nor do we have any intentions of suing anyone.

| I dropped a letter in the mailbox. If anyone writes one, don't mention you're from SOVA... or do mention that it's a fan group, not a company. | |

| Exactly. I see no reason to mention you're from SOVA. Just say you're a fan. | |

| I never mentioned I was from SOVA (except for a few times by accident). But DuArt and PUSA keep finding out I'm a member, even with *67 (caller ID block). I am writing a letter and will fax or mail it to Nintendo. I will explain how SOVA isn't a company and how we will not sue and hopefully they will pass it on to PUSA.
EDIT: Can't find a fax for Nintendo. I'll just steal some stamps from my mom real quick.

| Since I got a letter from Phaedra before SOVA even took off, looks like I'll have to hide behind an alias... I shall let Nekou (my original Rocket) do my work for me.
Unless Nekou's too weird a name. Which it is. So it seems I'll have to use her typical alias, Katie.
Also, shouldn't someone be contacting Argy about this for BulbaNews? Seems like breaking a story would make SOVA look good...
Oh, and you guys, anyone can use Google. For all we know, PUSA could be watching this forum constantly just by searching SOVA. It's not impregnable.

Nintendo's home page: http://www.nintendo.com/ Power Line (Automated Product Info): (425) 885-7529 The thing that really makes me happy about this message is that Nintendo thanked me for my feedback. Unlike PUSA, who does the exact opposite. Also, I sent the message yesterday and I already got a reply! PUSA never even replies at all. Nintendo is so much more professional than PUSA, since they actually care about their fans!

Do not tell BMG or anyone non-sova (or neutral) about this yet. Think about it. I'm sure there will be some people who will call Nintendo just to get in our way. First, we need to get a lot of SOVA supporters to call, and then we can broadcast this to the public. BTW, these forums are set to private for non-members.

I have sent my email, and I'll be making my call tomorrow. =D

| yea, the way PUSA and DuArt treated SOVA slipped my mind....and if you think about it, they are pretty mindless to have the attitude they have in regard to feedbacks. I mean, not only do they act rude towards SOVA, they act the same way to any other feedbacks/comments you send them, even those that arent even closlely related to SOVA (trust me i experimented with them lol) But they are mindless because, its the public that determines a companies reputation, if people start to know how PUSA and DuArt treat their customers, they are gonna be in big trouble. but yea, it is definitly a good idea to not let them know we are SOVA (esp cuz of all the "think were a company" stuff) I'm glad Nintendo has actually responded and in a civilized way *cough*. It will also be a good idea to thank them back.....so from personal experience, i think the best way is to say something along the following lines: (this is as bland as possible so anyone can just copypaste/change/whatever)
"Hi, i am a pokemon fan. First i would like to thank you for your concern. (say something cheesy like, "Your customer service/feedback has been unmatched compared to numerous other companies) We know that Pokemon is a major popularity, but on behalf of many pokemon fans across the nation, we would like to help you increase the popularity among the fans and across the whole country. (explain your view of sova's purposes but dont say you're from SOVA) I appreciate your concern. Thank you, from many appreciative/faithful fans of Nintendo and Pokemon"
In other words, try to make Nintendo (or whoever reads it) feel good about themselves and especially their customer service. This has worked really well for me, ive received a reply also but i deleted it so i cant really show you now, but ill see if i can get them to do something about this again.

| Heh, okay then.
And I don't want to rain on our ganbatte parade here, but if this is gonna work... WE NEED MEMBERS. Seriously, guys. I've brought it up before and I'll bring it up again. Members are what we need more than anything else, and if we don't have them, it's useless.
I believe at one point, I mentioned writing to the new PUSA presidents... They're the presidents, and I assume they'll be more professional than the sucky PUSA phone people (who probably think we're stupid kids crank calling them) and it may even be worth mentioning the rude treatment we've been getting.
I've got another suggestion, to improve these forums, but I've started a separate thread for it because I know it will touch some nerves.

| If you email the Nintendo Power's Player's Pulse section, your letter may very well be put in the magazine.
Heck, I simply emailed Nintendo about Sonic's VA using their online webform (requesting Ryan Drummond come back), didn't even e-mail the magazine though, but lo and behold, there was my letter in the next issue X3
And of COOOURSE no stores here ever got that issue... -_-;

Hi! I have been a longtime Pokemon fan ever since it came out! However, around about a year and a half ago, the cast which worked on the show and the games for eight years was replaced. This has saddened many Pokemon fans including me. Also, the new cast sounds nothing like the old one. Because of this, me and many other fans would be happy if the old cast could work on both the show and the games again. The show just isn't the same without them. I also think that Veronica Taylor should play the Pokemon Trainer in Super Smash Bros. Brawl and NOT Sarah Natochenny! So, please bring the original cast of Pokemon back to both the show and the games! Thank you As you can see, I did not mention PUSA. I sent this email yesterday and I got the response around this morning.

| If we mention PUSA, maybe Nintendo'll get through to them.
Anyway, if this guy isn't lying, I think someone else should call DuArt. Maybe I didn't speak to the right person. Someone should speak to Tim Werenko, because I think I got a department that wasn't the sound/dubbing one.
EDIT: Here it is. Tim W.'s direct line: 917.522.5674. And he seems to have a new email, too: twerenko@duart.com. Hopefully he'll be a nicer, more professional man.
