At least I'm not a Freshman anymore. ._.; (High School) Sophomore now. I managed to pick some of the easier classes (mainly becuz i'm lazy) but I still hate the idiotic people there. D:

I just found out that a lot of the smart/athletic people in our grade drink and such. O_O

I'm going to be a Junior. yay! a few more years of high school

A tip for those college-bound members: Order your textbooks from Amazon; you'll save a lot of money from what you'd be charged at school bookstores...

Also, see if there're any SOVA-worthy groups on campus.

Ah, that's not so bad. I mean when I was in sixth grade I caught a couple kids smoking in the bathroom. I turned them in after I gave them a lecture on how bad and disgusting smoking is. =P I remember my sixth grade science report was about smoking and I really gave a lot of vivid details in it. A lot of good that did since I find out pratically everyday some of my best friends are smoking already. Not only is it gross, but it's expensive and then they bitch about how expensive things are when a carton of cigarettes is like $50+ O_O Stupid fools! XD

In my world every month is July;where it's summer all the time! =D...Unfortunately I have to live in reality; This is my last year before high school and it's going to be brutal D: This year my grade has to prepare for an exam in order to get into high school and the teachers are going to murder us with homework! My sister graduated into high school in June; so at least I have a glimpse of what I'm getting into. I'm also aiming to graduate with honors, mean while I never got honors before and missed it this year by 1-2 points. GAH! I have so much pressure to deal with! My older brother, though, says I should cherish school why I'm still in it, so I'm not completely dreading it; but still...oh well I guess I should stop rambling on and remember that other people have worse problems than I have; in general and even school wise =P

It was probably a cruel joke (or probably true...-_-) my brother said that he started drinking at about that age -_-. If I were you I would turn them in; or if you don't want to that's fine because then you'd be a tattle tale; which still shouldn't be an excuse; but anyway..

That still doesn't stop them, Tommy -_- when I was on vacation to Tennessee my mom bought cartons of cigarettes for my grandma and my brothers once we drove through Virginia since it's cheaper there; I have to say I can't just understand what brought them to start with that first cigarette in the first place...Sorry for being off topic- back on topic;If you were caught smoking or drinking in my school (which is impossible considering my school is a private school and we only move from classroom-classroom once the bell rings and form a line in the hallway circling it until we reach the classroom) you would be sooo DEAD; also considering that we're not even allowed to bring gum =P

Yep. I used to chew Wriglys Eclipse in the bathroom once. And school starts TOMMOROW!

Nope, I actually know for sure they do that. Also I found out that my ex smokes. =/ But whatever, let her decisions mess up her asthma.

'Bout to start up community college next week. It'll be tough, but I'm pretty sure I'll do alright if I try hard enough.

I haven't even really thought about any definite majors yet. The thought of college is still pretty boring to me really.

well, i saw the school today. there was no AC. they do allow adidas sandals but my mom wont let me where them.

Well, I had just did computer network tests at a nearby high school and the unisex bathroom in the classroom in the new hallway had smelled like smoke. I think that Mrs. Amy Albamann (a recently hired special educator, she is 22) goes in there and sits on the toilet so that she can smoke. Doesn't she know that smoking and drinking is banned on school property for everyone? I hope to God that if they ask me to substitute they don't put me with a special ed. kid like Joe Santosa. He was not 100% in the head and he always opened the door on the classroom bathroom when girls are in there. The lock was broken on the door and the janitor said that it was beyond repair.

Some people really don't care Ben. Truthfully, I get offended when people smoke around me. I feel even though I'm a non-smoker and someone smokes around me, what's the point, I might just as well be smoking too. I never would because it's disgusting. I just can't believe they have the guts to smoke in school and stuff, that's just wrong.

My old Special Ed teacher's assistant, Mrs. Garrison used to go in the girl's bathroom near the cafeteria and she would be smelling somebody in the stall next to her smoking. My step-cousin's school in Detroit recently installed xray machines to look for students sneaking in banned items and weapons. Plus, smoking will mess up your health. It might have taken years, but 2 years ago, my Grandmother was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Baltimore City, MD in an ambulance twice for smoking related health issues.

anyway, the teachers ban flip flops yet THEY WEAR THEM!! and at my old catholic school, i wore uniforms but THE TEACHERS DIDNT!

Smokeing is horrible i have bronchitis proberly from passive smokeing but anyway smokeing is stupied and i dont like people doing it in front of me.

And why do teachers get to wear what they wont and tell us we can't

When my brother was in elementary school, they let the parents vote on whether or not they wanted the teachers and students to have to all wear shirts and pants with the school's name on them, 88% of the parents said no to the proposal.

Gah. School. The only thing I'm looking forward to is seeing everyone again...and routine admittedly. I'm sick of no routine. Also...I hate how some of you start school later than me and end earlier than me. 9:30-2:40...wtf! School for me is 8:30 - 15:55...although this year I'll be getting free periods (yay!)

Well I'll be starting my 13th year of school. Now that I'm 16, I'm a Lower Sixth Form student. For those of you who don't know, Sixth form is an alternative to college. Yipee! I'm starting my A levels! I'll be taking:

Pure Maths; Further Maths; Art; Physics; French

I'll probably drop one of them by next year - 5 is quite a lot D:
Some of you may be able to deduce that I want to be an architect when I grow up.

Also Shadow25, if you need help with Latin, I can help. I did it at GCSE and though I haven't got my results back yet, I'm pretty certain I got an A* in that subject (or A+ if you prefer it that way). Meh...I get my GCSE results tomorrow and I'm scared senseless ;; ...WISH ME LUCK! DX

Well I go back on 4th September which I think is rather stupid...I mean - either start at the beginning of that week or the beginning of the next one. What's the point on starting on a frigging Thursday (it is a Thursday, right?) XD

Also, in regards to the smoking: no-one smokes due to the strict drugs policy (I too attend a private school). A couple of people used to smoke but they were expelled quickly. Of course, the "cool" people smoke outside of school but most are sensible. It's the same with drinking although I don't recall anyone drinking in school...of course, being in England, pretty much everyone drinks outside of school all the time anyway (for the record, I don't).
