What scares you?

It's time for another one of those honesty questions. What scares you? Or what are you afraid of? I have a couple of things here I can list...

1. I'm am absolutely terrified of thunderstorms. It may sound like a dumb thing to be scared of but when I was younger I have seen numerous houses get struck by lightning and they go up in flames. I'm afraid of it happening to me. Once I was on the phone during a storm and I was looking out the door and this big bolt of lightning came out of the sky and about 400 feet away from me it struck this barn. It had a huge crash and went up in flames. It all happened right in front of me. Anytime I see lightning I close all my shades and turn on the TV really loud so I can't hear or see lightning. When a storm like that comes I actually get physically sick to my stomach.

2. This one's a hard one to list but at night I always go to bed with the TV on. I'm not afraid of the dark by all means but when I was about 2 1/2 my dad was a real jerk and I was in my crib and I had the door closed and and it was dark and he comes and start pounding on the door really loud and then starts making animal sounds. First he'd bark like a dog, then meow like a cat and a few other things. The bad thing is I remember this happening!! Anyway my mom kicked him out for good at that time because of all the other things he'd do to me. I think that it scarred me so bad that now I always like to have something going so it's like something is there. I don't even like being alone that much. When I'm by myself I always have the TV on or a radio on just so there's something there for me to feel secure. Stupid, yes, but what can I do?

So that's just a couple of things. Anyone else have anything to add?

Zombies and extreme heat, like volcanoes.

Oh, and even moreso, the thought of losing Kaylin.

That's what scares me.

1. Small spaces. I've always been claustrophobic and don't like crowds. Except at cons, and there's usually a place I can duck into with less people.

2. Crash test dummies. It's kinda weird, because I've always delighted in stuff like creepy dolls and whatnot being a Gothic Lolita fan for the very reason they creep me out, but the traffic safety people used to make these commercials where these two guys dressed up as crash test dummies were in car accidents and they'd come out and tell you to wear your seatbelts. I'm sure they're on YouTube somewhere. Anyway, I was little when they showed them, about 3 or 4 or 5, and they scared the crap out of me, because of their creepy eyes and expressionless faces. They still more or less scare me now. I'm just glad they don't show the PSAs anymore.

3. Decapitation. Really not a pleasant way to go, when you consider how you stay conscious for like, fifteen seconds after your head's separated from your body.

4. Wasps. Mostly the giant ones. Note I said "wasps" not honey bees. I like little cute bees. But yellowjackets, hornets, mud daubers... (ick, mud daubers), I hate big, nasty things where you can see the stingers and they just fly around you.

Oh yeah! I forgot, I hate wasps too! I always call them bees but I know that's not what they are. When I was younger I was always getting stunk in the foot by these little varmints. Of course I was barefoot! Anytime I see one I quickly get a can of Raid and eliminate them!

Sarah Natochenny as Ash, especially when she tries to laugh. That scared me when I was watching. She made Ash sound evil!

I agree that she is scary as Ash. But to be honest I intended this thread to be non-Pokemon related.

SHOTS SHOTS SHOTS SHOTS are my worst fear! I have to get a physical every year near my birthday, and my birthday is today so who knows when I'll get my shot!
I also fear ghosts, horror movies, those haunted houses during Holloween, upside down rides, my sister, my dad on a bad day, my mom in the morning (grumpy in the morning), my teachers, and, I can admit it, the dark.

I am absolutely terrified of bugs (even butterflies), I don't know why I have the courage to kill them sometimes but the flying kind REALLY scare me. (I was stung once by a bee when I was 12, about 2 years ago)

Also, I don't like being home alone late at night because I need all the lights on just to give me a sense of security.

I buy a good 10 Raid sprays every time I hit Pathmark or ShopRite.

I think the mayor should recognize me as the Manalapan Bug Killer.

I know it's kinda weird, but I would hate the thought of being completely alone. I've been close with my family for my entire life and if they suddenly were gone I honestly don't know what I'd do with myself. I mean, I'd continue living and all, but I'd probably be lost in this world.

The thing that scares me most? Humankind. Humans do the most stupidest, most craziest, most assinine things. Who caused 9/11? Humans. Who caused the World Wars? Humans. Why is there criminal activity? Humans. It's disturbing how much violence humans cause.

I can agree with that. Humans are the main cause of violence and distruction of the world.

Back to what scares me.... I CAN'T stand cockroaches! They're disgusting little creatures!

mosquitoes scar me because they BITE many times without you knowing. you only know when you go inside.
